Our Story

Creating Voices founders, Megan Davidson and Clare Coates, met in college, where they both studied speech pathology. After attending graduate school in Dallas, both Megan and Clare worked in outpatient rehab clinics for the same hospital system, and also became next door neighbors. After gaining valuable experience in other settings (some of which overlapped!), and growing their families, they decided to take a leap of faith, and they started Creating Voices together.

Creating Voices began with one therapy room where Megan and Clare alternated days seeing patients. The clinic continued to grow and expanded into three therapy rooms within Pediatric Associates of Dallas. Creating Voices gained two therapists: Nicole Rhodes, one of Megan’s old co-workers and friends, and Margaret Sumrell, who they met through the audiologist at PAD.

Following Megan moving out of state and Clare beginning to serve the local school district, Nicole Rhodes, their first employee, acquired Creating Voices Therapy and hired two additional talented therapists!

We are blessed to be supported by our patients and their families on this journey, and are thankful to be able to continue to serve you!

Creating Voices is a pediatric speech language pathology clinic that provides children and their families with a supportive culture and community to strengthen child development.
